Conduct application testing for a mission critical trading floor system in an end-to-end testing environment. Prepare detailed test plans and test scripts for each release. Execute test scripts both manually and utilizing an automated test tool. As defects are uncovered, enter them into the Defect Tracking system with appropriate severity and description. Provide daily status report including test objective and detailed description of results.
Minimum of 3 years experience.
Self-motivated technical professional must have ability to work independently and as a member of a test team. Candidate must be results oriented and be able to integrate into a large development team and should have high-level analytical skills with an ability to identify problems encountered during testing. Must have the ability to maintain effective communication and establish good working relationships with Operations, Development, Requirements Engineering, Systems Support, Communications and customers. Must be familiar with testing with the FIX protocol.
Candidate should have some Project Management experience and familiarity with stock trading applications would be a plus.
